NOTE:  These wheels are designed to fit 3mm axles (e.g. RevoSlot).  They use 4-40 set screws which require a 1.3mm (.050″) hex driver available for purchase separately (see “Related Products”).

CB Design Insert Wheels 17.3×8.2mm for 3mm Axles (e.g. RevoSlot) are high-performance CNC machined aluminum wheels designed to accept wheel inserts (available for purchase separately)  For best performance, we recommend:

• Quick Slicks high-performance silicone tires
• Paul Gage urethane tires

C.B. Design Wheels are designed to minimize “slop” caused when wheels fit loosely on an axle.  Because of slight variations in axle diameters and the wheel’s axle bore (i.d.), C.B. Design Wheels may not slide onto a given axle like other manufacturer’s wheels.  Here are some tips to achieve the best results:

• Whenever possible, use a new axle.
• SLOWLY twist the wheel onto the axle.  NEVER force the wheel if it is too tight!
• If the wheel will not slide onto the axle, try using a fine grit (600+) sandpaper to wet sand the end of the axle.  Test fit frequently until the desired fit is achieved.
